Research
Argonaut's primary research focus is on natural resources (mining, energy and agribusinesses). Where warranted, the Research team covers special situations.
Argonaut does not constrain its thought process, but uses a combination of
- Top-down analysis to identify themes and sectors
- Bottom-up analysis to select individual stocks
In presenting Argonaut's thoughts, the weight of the arguments put forward is more important than the weight of the document. Argonaut provides research in a clear, concise and readable manner through:
- Daily Notes
- Institutional-quality Research Reports
- Regular Email Updates
Argonaut's recommendations are based on in-depth and pro-active analysis, where the Research Team endeavours to identify the investment themes of the future rather than reactively latching on to the latest fad. The Research Team is keenly focused on fundamental research and valuation in order to support Argonaut's views.
